  2. My package has not arrived. Now what?


    Which shipping method did you choose?

    1. First Class Mail: The US Postal Service requires up to 30 days for delivering first class mail. Some reasons for delay in shipping include incomplete or incorrect shipping address, bad weather or environmental concerns, USPS equipment breakdowns etc. If the package is not deliverable to the shipping address for any reason, USPS will return the package to us. We will notify you immediately if the package is returned to our warehouse. Please contact us after 30 days from the shipping date if the package has not been received at your location. 
    2. Priority Mail: The US Postal Service requires up to 30 days for delivering priority mail. Some reasons for delay in shipping include incomplete or incorrect shipping address, bad weather or environmental concerns, USPS equipment breakdowns etc. If the package is not deliverable to the shipping address for any reason, USPS will return the package to us.   4. How much is shipping? How long does it take to process and ship my order?

    Shipping rates vary and are based upon the destination, total weight of your order and the shipping method selected. The beadsRfun.com shopping cart links directly to the USPS and FedEx production computers for calculating their shipping rates. The shipping rates provided on this web site come directly from the shipping carrier. beadsRfun.com does not have the authority to change their rates. Shipping rates can be viewed with the Shipping Estimator prior to checking out. The Shipping Estimator is located in the shopping cart. Here are the steps to view the estimated shipping:

    • Click on Cart Contents in the upper right hand corner of this site. At the bottom of your shopping cart is the Shipping Estimator. NOTE: You must have items placed in your shopping cart to receive an estimate on shipping.
    • Select your Country, enter your Zip Code or Postal Code and click on Recalculate.
    • A list of shipping methods and their estimated cost will be displayed.

    beadsRfun.com reserves the right to add additional shipping fees to any order if the correct method of shipping is not selected for the size of the package. Please see FAQ #3 for the types and size of shipping containers we use.

  5. Types and sizes of shipping containers we use.


    USPS Domestic Shipping Containers

    • First Class (padded bubble envelope). Up to 15 ounces.
    • Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope. This is a thin, cardboard envelope without padding. Envelopes have very limited internal space and cannot accommodate large, bulky items.
    • Priority Mail Box is a durable, cardboard box with padding. Boxes can accommodate large quantities and bulky items.
    • Express Mail Envelope. This envelope is the same as the Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope above.
    • Express Mail Box. This box is the same as the Priority Mail Box above.

    USPS International Shipping Containers

    • Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope. This is a thin, cardboard envelope without padding. Envelopes have very limited internal space and cannot accommodate large, bulky items. If purchasing bulk quantities, large gemstones or spools of cord, please select Priority Mail International that does not say 'Flat Rate Envelope.' 
    • Priority Mail International Flat Rate Box has a slightyly larger capacity than the Flat Rate Envelope. This is a durable, cardboard box with limited size and padding. Flat rate boxes may accommodate slightly larger quantities and minimal bulky items.
    • Priority Mail International Box is a larger sized durable cardboard box with some padding. Boxes can accommodate larger quantities and bulky items.
    • Express Mail International Flat Rate Envelope. This envelope is the same as the Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope above. If purchasing bulk quantities, large gemstones or spools of cord, please select Express Mail International that does not say 'Envelope.' 
    • Express Mail International Box. This box is the same as the Priority Mail Box above (excludes Flat Rate Box.)

    Federal Express Domestic Shipping Containers

    • Fed Ex Express, 2 Day or 3 Day may be shipped in either a soft-sided envelope or a box.
    • Fed Ex Home or Ground may be shipped in either a soft-sided envelope or a box.

    Federal Express shipping containers we use will depend upon the shipping method selected and the volume size of the order.

  6. How long will it take for my package to arrive?


    Expedited Shipping Service

    If you require expedited shipping service, please choose one of the following shipping services. All other shipping services will fall under our standard order processing. 

    • Federal Express Overnight by 3PM
    • Federal Express Priority Overnight by 10:30 AM
    • Federal Express First Overnight
    • US Postal Service Express Mail 1-2 Day**

    **We ship from a rural location. The US Postal Service adds one business day to ALL shipping services including Overnight Express Mail. Overnight Express Mail shipping is actually 2 Day shipping from our location.

    Days We Ship and Days Packages Are Delivered

    beadsRfun.com ships packages Monday through Friday. On Monday and Tuesday, we process all orders received late on Friday, as well as orders received Saturday and Sunday.

    Federal Express delivers packages Monday through Friday only. The US Postal Service delivers packages Monday through Saturday in most areas.

    Order Processing Time

    The majority of orders placed ship within 24 - 36 hours of us receiving payment, excluding orders placed on weekends or holidays. After a long weekend or holiday, it may take up to 36 hours to process orders. Orders received Saturday, Sunday or on a Holiday are processed the next business day. Please plan your purchases to allow for processing time.

    Our busy season is January and February during the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show and September through December. During these times, order processing times may extend to 36 hours before the order is shipped. During these busy seasons, we strongly recommend you allow additional time for processing your order.

    Transit/Shipping Times

    Our shipping location is a rural location outside of Tucson, Arizona. Because we ship from a rural location, this will add an additional business day to the transit time. Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Transit times vary and are out of our control once the package has shipped. For detailed tracking information, please choose Federal Express, UPS or Express Mail shipping methods. All other shipping methods only provide delivery confirmation and not tracking.

    Transit times from September to December may take longer due to the increase in shipping for Christmas. We strongly recommend you allow additional transit time during this season.

    Estimated Delivery in USA:

     

    o        First Class Mail (provides limited tracking services; records delivery date and time only): Average delivery time is 2-4 days but can take up to 30 days, not including processing time. Delivery is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.

    o        Priority Mail (provides limited tracking services; records delivery date and time only): Average delivery time is 2-4 days but may take up to 14 business days, not including processing time. Delivery is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.

    o        Express Mail (provides detailed tracking info with delivery date and time): 1-3 business days, does not include processing time. Delivery is guaranteed by the US Postal Service. Note: Because we ship from a rural location, allow one extra business day for delivery of Express Mail.

    o        Federal Express offers Overnight, 2 Day, 3 Day and Ground deliveries (7-14 days). Since we ship from a rural location, this will add an additional business day to the transit time. FedEx shipments do not ship the same day we receive the order; they ship the next day (excluding weekends and holidays).

    o        United Parcel Service offers 1 Day, 2 Day, 3 Day and Ground deliveries (7-14days). Since we ship from a rural location, this will add an additional business day to the transit time. UPS shipments do not ship the same day we receive the order; they ship the next day (excluding weekends and holidays).

     

    Estimated Delivery to Canada:

    • Priority Mail Canada; (no tracking service, records delivery date and time only): 7-15 business days, not including processing time. Delivery is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.
    • Express Mail Canada (provides detailed tracking info with delivery date and time): 3-20 business days, not including processing time. Delivery is guranteed by the US Postal Service.
    • Federal Express is not available for shipments to Canada.
    • United Parcel service is not available for shipments to Canada.

    Estimated Delivery International:

    • Priority Mail International (provides limited tracking services; records delivery date and time only): 7-30 business days, not including processing time. Delivery is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.
    • Express Mail International (provides detailed tracking info with delivery date and time): 3-20 business days, not including processing time. Delivery is guranteed by the US Postal Service.
    • Federal Express is not available for international shipments.
    • United Parcel Service is not available for international shipments.

  7. Common reasons for orders being delayed.


    • The first most common reason an order is delayed is because the CVV and Expiration Date on the credit card used does not match. This typically occurs because of a typographical error when entering the data. Before confirming your order, verify the CVV and the Expiration Date match the credit card provided. If the payment is declined, we will notify you by email and request verifcation of the CVV and Expiration Date.
    • The second most common reason an order is delayed is because the billing address for the credit card used does not match the billing address placed on the order. Before confirming your order, verify the billing address on the order will match the credit card provided. If the payment is declined, we will notify you by email and request verification of the billing address.
    • The third most common reason an order is delayed is because the PayPal payment has been rejected. If your PayPal account is billed to a credit card, be sure you follow points 1 and 2 above.
    • The fourth most common reason an order is delayed is because the US Postal Service cannot verify the shipping address provided on the order. This may be caused by a typographical error when entering the data. Before confirming your order, verify the shipping address on the order is correct. If we are not able to confirm the shipping address is accurate, we will notify you by email to verify the information.
    • The fifth most common reason an order is delayed is because the payment method used is PayPal eCheck. PayPal eCheck can take up to 5 business days to clear (not including Saturday, Sunday or Holidays). If PayPal eCheck is used for payment, we will notify you by email when the payment is expected to clear and when the order will ship. For faster processing and shipping of your order, we recommend using a credit card. A debit card can also be used as long as it has the Visa or MasterCard logo.

  8. What is your return policy? How do I return an item?


    For orders shipped to the US or Canada, requests for a refund are gladly accepted within 14 days of the order date. Requests received the 15th to 30th day after the purchase date will receive a store credit only. Returns are not accepted 30 days after the purchase date. For international shipments, returns are gladly accepted within 21 days of purchase. Please follow the instructions below when returning item(s):

    • You must submit a request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). See the steps below. Returned items will not be accepted without an RMA. We will email you the RMA along with instructions for returning the item(s).
      • How do I request a Return Merchandise Authorization?
        • Log into your account and go to My Account
        • Under the heading 'Previous Orders' click on the invoice for the item(s) you wish to return.
        • From the invoice, click on the link that says [Need to return this product?] for each item. An RMA will be issued for each item being returned.
        • Complete the form and an RMA number will be issued. Follow the instructions for returning the item(s). We recommend printing this page for your records.
    • The RMA must be prominently displayed on the outside of the package.
    • For orders in the US or Canada, the item(s) must be returned to us within 10 days of the RMA being issued. For international orders, the item(s) must be returned to us within 21 days. Returned orders not received within these time frames will be rejected and returned to you.
    • The item(s) must be returned in its original packaging and in its original condition. Opened packages or altered strands are not accepted and will be returned to you. We do not accept returns on stringing cord or thread that has been cut.
    • We do not accept returns on closeout or clearance items.
    • Include a copy of the original invoice.
    • If you received any discounts, those discounts will be adjusted and deducted from your refund or exchange, if any.
    • Returned items must be adequately packaged to prohibit breakage. Broken packages/items will be returned to you.
    • Returns are subject to 25% restocking fee. See Conditions For Returns below.
    • Return the item(s) to: RMA Dept beadsRfun.com, 9420 E Golf Links Rd #PMB105, Tucson, AZ 85730-1355. If you do not have an RMA Number and you return items to us, they will be refused.

    Conditions For Returns: 

    All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee unless beadsRfun.com made an error in filling the order. To avoid this fee, we would be happy to provide you with a credit towards future purchases or an exchange. The credit will equal 100% of the value of the returned item(s). Shipping fees or low order fees are not credited or refunded.

    Why do we have a restocking fee? There are many costs associated with returns. The most obvious cost is the employee's time it takes not only to process the original order but to resceive and catalog the returned items, issue credit invoices, process refunds, and update the quantities on the web site. Plus, there are costs associated with the overstocking that occurs when items are returned after its inventory level has been replaced by our purchasing department. We believe it is unfair to increase our prices to cover these expenses so we choose to only charge for the service to those who actually make returns. This restocking fee is clearly described in our terms and it is a condition that customers accept when doing business with our company.

    Exchanges are gladly accepted without incurring the restocking fee. The exchange must be equal to or greater than the cost of the original item. Additional purchase amounts, if applicable, and shipping fees will be incurred for any exchange.

    If item(s) are being returned due to a shipping error by beadsRfun.com, we will replace it with the correct item(s), if available. If the correct item is no longer available, we will substitute with a comparable item(s) or substitute with another item(s) from the original order that is of equal value.

    Shipping fees and low order fees are not refundable.

    Refunds will be issued according to the original method of payment. If you paid by a credit card, the refund will be placed on your credit card. If payment was made through PayPal or PayPal eCheck, a credit will be issued through PayPal. We will not issue a refund in cash or by check. Refunds will be issued up to 30 days following the purchase date. After 30 days, only a store credit will be provided.

    These policies are clearly described and it is a condition that customers accept when doing business with our company.

  9. Undeliverable, refused or rejected orders.


    If the USPS returns a package to us because it cannot be delivered to the shipping address confirmed on the order, we will notify the customer by email immediately. We will be happy to reship the package to an alternate address at customer's expense. If we are not provided with a correct shipping address within 10 days of being notified of the returned package, the order will be cancelled. Refunds will be issued according to the terms outlined under FAQ #6.

    If the USPS returns a package to us because it has been refused or rejected by the recipient, the order will be cancelled. Refunds will be issued according to the terms outlined under FAQ #6. Shipping and/or low order fees are not refundable.

  10. Do you provide tracking information for packages?


    Yes! Tracking is available on Priority Mail and Express Mail shipments only. You must select one of these shipping methods to receive tracking information. The US Postal Service does not provide tracking for First Class Mail. If you selected this shipping method, you will not receive tracking information.

  11. Do you offer free or discounted shipping?

    No. Our business model is as a wholesaler, bulk beads discount supplier. As such, we offer bead prices up to 60% lower than many of our competitors. With these deep discounts on beads, jewelry making supplies and jewelry, we cannot absorb the cost of free or discounted shipping. The shipping rates charged are calculated directly from the US Postal Service and are based upon the total weight and destination of your package. These rates are reasonable and less expensive than UPS or Fed Ex.

    Furthermore, when you use your registration coupon and/or lifetime discount coupon, you receive an additional 5% off which goes a long way towards covering the cost of shipping. For more details on Coupons and Gift Vouchers, see FAQ #8 on our Customer Service FAQ page.

  12. How do I view my Order History & Shipping Status?


    You may view your previous order history and shipping status by using the 'My Account' link located in the upper right corner of this site. You will need to log in with your username (email address) and password. When you log in, click on "View the orders I have made" under the My Orders section. To view the shipping status of an order, click on the invoice number, scroll to the bottom to see the shipping status located under Order History. You will see dates and status of the order including Pending Payment, Processing, Shipped or On Hold. Next to each date you may see notes related to that order. These notes also serve as notices to customers which are sent directly to your email box. To receive these email notices, be sure your email address is correct on your account. If you are expecting email from us and have not received it, be sure to check your spam or junk email box.
